Kelly is very passionate about what she does and it showed throughout her tour. We learned a great deal about sheep and how her business runs. We were able to mingle with some sheep which was extra fun as we observed their various personalities. Highly recommend!

Kelly is an amazing human and a wonderful host. The tour was very informative and the setting was beautiful. We walked away amazed by the beautiful yarn designs that Kelly creates and by the hard work that she does daily to take care of her sheep herd. She is an amazing educational resource as well as a beautiful, patient and kind host!
We enjoyed learning more about Shetland sheep, understanding how different parts of the sheep's wool are used, and the sheep were fun to meet. I enjoyed playing with them! I enjoyed learning how the wool is cleaned and the spinning demonstration, as well. I bought some wonderful yarn that I look forward to knitting, knowing that the wool came from some pretty awesome sheep who are well cared for by Kelly.
Kelly was so knowledgeable and kind - and it was such a treat to learn about Vermont and her animals. She’s a seventh generation Vermonter so she knows her stuff! She gave us a lot of great recommendations for things to do locally and we went to the little local market on her recommendation and I have since toted home (on the flight back) a heap of fresh sunflowers I bought there. Meeting the sheep was easily my husband’s favorite thing we did on our Vermont trip - her animals are so beautiful and kind, and the yarn she sells is also so soft and high quality. Kelly spent a lot of time with us and answered all of our questions - we would love to go see all of her animals again and get to speak to her more! She has a really strong biology and genetics background so it was really fun to ask her all of my nerdy questions about zoonotic diseases and how they maintain genetic diversity in breeding. Even if you’re not a nerd, it’s worth the visit! I miss Hazel the sheep!
